THE CHALLENGE: GROWING IN THE DESERT

A potential client came to us looking for an efficient system to grow salads round year. He had installed a pyramidal NFT system that did not grow a single plant since its implementation.

THE ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL

We proposed our patented system H2HYBRID for round year production. Our patented design allows to grow commercial grade crops even during summer season in UAE. We proposed a new design including a reduction on pumping equipment from 20 HP to only 6 HP, with variable frequency drivers and pressure control in the pipelines. We save above 60% on electrical consumption and water waste thanks to the redesign and new equipment included.

After the reengineering, we proposed a totally new setup, easy to manage and operate, with multiple sectors and capacity to separate and isolate individual beds if required.

Our T-Control was included in this new design, It was propose to have full capacity to operate climate, irrigation and fertilization, fully automatic and with online remote office 24/07.

THE PROJECT

We installed our H2HYBRID system to grow up to 34 plants per square meter in 3 weeks’ time cycles. This setup also included new irrigation and drain main lines to optimize water and fertilizer management. We also delivered by plane the control and automation systems for best implementation.

Setup and commissioning took 2 technicians for 5 days to connect and test all electronic parts, climate controller and hydroponic system. We also trained their technicians via onsite and online. Our T-Control has an intuitive screen and it is easy to learn and activate their features.

Finally, we connected our T-Control to the internet for remote access. Whole system can be accessed now from Desktop, Laptop, Smartphone or Tablet. H2HYDROPONICS can update the software or provide technical support as required from the client side in the fastest possible way.

T-CONTROL is a powerful tool 100% configurable and ready to operate all climatic, irrigation and hydroponic equipment. It has analogic and digital open ports to connect as many sensors/probes as required to control your hydroponic project, vertical farm, soil and outdoor crops.

We utilize our learning and knowledge on pure water hydroponic crops where every operation has fast reaction. Our H2 T-Control has an ultraprecise software, very intuitive and as easy to operate as any Smartphone. Programming our H2 T-CONTROL is very easy and intuitive thanks to its 7” color touch-screen.
