THE CHALLENGE: FROM A TRADITIONAL FARM TO HYDROPONIC FARM
Our client from UK has a traditional soil-based herbs facility to grow premium herbs for their selected clients. He contacted us to put in place a hydroponic setup capable of meeting the high standards for their quality range of products.
THE ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL
Based on their needs and climatic conditions, we proposed a NFT system with T-Control for automation and control of nutrient solution. We design NFT tables with a high-density arrangement to hold more than 40 plants per square meter.
We design multiple irrigation sectors so the client could have the option to grow different type of crops under same controller and pumping station. A swamp tank and a plastic water reservoir was included in this design.
THE PROJECT
H2HYDROPONICS designed to use a 20ft container to install our T-Control and pumping station; all control and dosing Equipment was properly mounted inside the container.
H2HYDROPONICS prepared and preassemble the automation equipment in Spain, then all materials were loaded in a truck to deliver by road to its destination in UK.
It took 2 weeks and 2 technicians to complete installation and setup of the hydroponic NFT system and automations. T-Control has internet connectivity and remote office with email alarms.

The new hydroponic farm grows aromatic herbs of highest quality and best taste and aroma.
The use of pesticides and other chemicals for pest control is reduced to almost zero.

H2 NFT
Our H2-NFT channels have a superior design and optimal harvests thanks to years of research and production in multiple climate conditions. A double wall design protects roots from extreme climatic conditions; to reduce algae pollution, the channels have a white/black finish. Detachable and exchangeable lids make cleaning an easy task; at the same time, it also allows to change between multiple plant densities as required by just selecting a different patterned lid.
